What cables/adapters are available to interface a new midi controller with a printer port to a midi sound module that has the 5-pin ports?

I'm not sure that a midi controller would have a 'printer port'?
I wonder if you're referring to a USB port, which might be used for various things, and on relevant devices might be used as a printer connector?
If you want to connect a device with a USB port to another device with the old style DIN connector then you need to get a DIN/USB midi connector. But stay away from the cheap Chinese devices, which have issues and will often not work correctly. Try to get one of the branded (as in a known brand) ones - more expensive, but more reliable. This matter has been discussed here a number of times before.
