Ooh, those are cool too. I think the ones I posted hook up to a MIDI device to control it, I don't think they are standalone like the EWI seems to be.I don't know that one, but I've played some wind MIDI controllers, Akai EWI models, and I find them cool.

I think the ones I posted hook up to a MIDI device to control it, I don't think they are standalone like the EWI seems to be.
The standalone model (with speaker included) is the EWI Solo:

There are other models without speaker, which is more convenient for studio recording:

But aside from Akai, there are other manufacturers selling electronic wind instruments like Yamaha YDS-150 Digital Saxophone or Roland Aerophone AE-10
