Hi,
Trying to use my Numark NS6 Serato Controller as a control surface with Studio One(DAW).

The NS6 is sending two CC messages from the one knob/fader on the controller and thus makes assigning to plugins nightmare.

One CC will move as it should the other moves ultra sensitive/crazy like.

I can't disable the sensitive CC and if I delete it from within Studio Ones mapping control window it just reappears again and then it won't delete at all.

I tested the NS6 with a 3 party midi monitor and it confirms its sending two CC's from the the one knob/fader so I don't think its anything to do with Studio One.

My theory is as it made to control Serato Dj and made to control up to 4 decks(turntables) it sends multiple CC but then again its has 4 channels in the mixer but only two platters(truntable)

My other theory is it might because I'm using the NS6's soundcard at the same time maybe I'll use my external card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks

I'd guess your controller is sending a 14-bit value, which would be implemented with separate MSB and LSB controller numbers. (See the Control Change Messages table.)

Ok so yes it is 14bit, looks like I have to modify the XML profile of my controller in studio one. Lucky studio one supports it, shame its not native so to speak. Thanks Clemens Ladisch
