Hi all. I'm a DJ who currently uses Traktor Pro 2 on Windows 7 with a Denon MC6000 midi controller/mixer at the same time as using 2 x Allen & Heath Xone K1 controllers either side of the MC6000 in my setup.
I'm having issues with 2 of the volume faders (A+C) on the left side of the Denon MC6000 controller. I've checked all the mappings for errors but it is obviously a hardware issue, meaning two of the channel faders have stopped functioning. To counter this issue I have attempted to add another midi controller (an Akai AMX controller/mixer) to my set up so I can control the respective channels using that. However when I try to incorporate the Akai AMX I am getting numerous conflicts, such as when moving the crossfader on the AMX it will simultaneously move the gain on channel A. I've used trial and error for weeks changing the mapping but I'm unable to fix the issue.I can find very little info regarding the Factory settings and midi codes on the AMX and whether it is possible to change the channels and CC commands. I'm beginning to think many of the functions on the AMX are hardcoded into the controller without the possibility to change them. I've tried using MIDI-OX but I'm a relatively newcomer to it and I'm finding it difficult to fully understand I'm sure it is possible to reroute the commands but with my limited knowledge the solution is eluding me. Can anyone offer any advice please ?
