I have a number of synthesizers and drum machines. the drum machines have sequences programmed into them. And on my synthesizers I have arpegiatted sequences in them. I want all the instruments to play in time. When I make 1 device the master clock and set all the other devices to slave, all the devices start playing all together when Ihit play on the master clock. Is this correct? Is this how midi is supposed to work and if so do I have to adjust the volumes of every device before I hit play so they don't all play at once? Thanks.
