Hi, so I am realtively new to MIDI and I am currently trying to make sense of it.
This is the part of a midi File (Nightwish sleeping Sun, cant link page, I guess because it gets filterd as spam)
that is currently giving me headaches:

4D 54 72 6B // MTrk
00 00 03 39 // length
00 B0 00 00 // control change, bank select

so far so good, now the next part reads

00 20 00 00 C0 59 00 FF...

what does the 00 20 do?! where does it come from?
I assume 00 has to be delta time, but 20 is not defined by MIDI standard as far as I can tell.

If anybody would have any input on this,
thank you in advance,
best
Raphael

This is Running Status: if there is no status byte, the last status byte (here: B0) is repeated.
