The journey of The MIDI Association started about a year ago at the Winter NAMM show 2015. Since then we have been working on the plans to launch a global community of people who work, play and create with MIDI. We've put a great team of industry experts together and now it finally looks like we are days away from launching. We are both excited and a bit scared about what will happen when we launch. Maybe it's a party that no one will come to, but more likely it's a party that gets really crowded and runs out of chip dip :D .

What do you think will be coming for MIDI at NAMM ? We are hoping for a brand new website !

I have started to attend this party but the chip dip is long gone.
I see the future taking off like a drone so let's get flying here instead of going in circles !

The adoption of MIDI CI is a first great step towards a new protocol and we are working hard to follow up and keep things moving forward.
