M Audio 192 /4 no sound coming out as I try and hook up to OBS and DDj1000

I am a beginner DJ trying to live stream a set. I bought an M Audio 192 / 4. I connected it to my Pioneer DDJ1000 via the Master 1 with an RCA to 6.5 set of cables.

I then connect it to my MacBook Air. I'm using OBS to try and live stream. From the 'sources' section on OBS I choose M Audio. When I test the audio by playing a song nothing registers in OBS. I've already gone into 'preferences', and 'sound' and set everything to M Audio.

I am an absolute beginner so I don't know why there is no sound.

Can anyone help?

Your setup and your problems are all audio, not MIDI. You are not using MIDI. So this is not really the best place to ask. But let me help you get started...

You probably should start by trying to find out whether your problem is the audio interface or OBS. Is your audio interface working with any other software? For example, can you play sounds out of Apple Music app and hear it through the interface? Can you record into Audacity? If yes, then maybe you have a setting wrong in OBS. If no, then maybe the problem is in the interface settings. Then I suggest you contact M Audio tech support or ask for help on an M-Audio users forum or some general audio recording forum. Or ask for help on an OBS forum.
