I wanted seamless integration of patch presets with real-time controls, so I designed a touch control panel that lets me call up a patch, and have it be fully live, without any fiddling around in the process. I used a unique capacitive sensor design that I devised that is virtually immune to external electrical noise. This lets it be very responsive, giving it a natural feel to use. I stuck it on a DX7, to see if it could tame the beast. It did.
