Hey Everyone! Im relatively new to the world of MIDI and was wondering what a good starter keyboard would be. Ive seen smaller ones such as the Arturia Mini lab but I am thinking of getting one that is on the bigger side. What would you guys recommend for a full scale keyboard?

"Best" is very subjective.

Does "full scale" mean 88 keys? Do you want the keys to feel like a real piano?
Do you need a keyboard that can output sounds by itself, or will you do everything on the computer?
What dp you intend to do with it?

I would recommend the AKAI MPK mini because its 100$. On the low budget size but it depends on your budget or the AKAI MPK 88 it has everything you need to make beats. As, for a keyboard.

Im mostly just looking for one that will allow me to play in multiple octaves. I will be using the keyboard exclusively for pro tools and computer.

You should definitely look at the Nektar Impakt LX88+, which gives a ton of playing and features for the money, at the high end of the keyboard size and playing experience spectrum.
