Hi,
need to "convert" a GPI trigger to MIDI "start" command for an iPad app. the Ipad has USB MIDI interface.
Any suggestions on hardware ?

This looks like it would get you part of the way there. Once converted to MIDI, you should be able to figure out how to get the MIDI signal connected to a computer and sent to your iPAD.
